HISTORY

This hospital was idea of the bishop José Trinidad Sepúlveda who was able to get the terrain and the people who donated money and materials to build this house in order to help limited resources people especially for people from far lands.

Then, the presence of the religious group “Hijas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesus” was solicited.

On September 14th of 1988 the house started activities, and the construction was unfinished by that date; the inauguration and blessing was in charge of bishop Felipe Aguirre Franco, by this date there was a group of voluntaries ready to work and help in the house.

The house is located on the “10 Av. Norte Oriente #146 in the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez; Chiapas.

“Congregación de las Hijas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús De Santa María de Jesús Sacramentado”

She was canonized by John Paul II in the city of Rome in the year 1992. It was the first Mexican woman in being canonized, forming part of the 25 martyrs, even tough she was not martyr in body, but she was in spirit.

Outside the country: Africa, Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Chile
Inside the country: Agua prieta, Guaymas, Cananea, Hermosillo, Tépic, Mazatlán, Guadalajara surroundings (Santa Anita, Santa Martha).


This house is administrated by “Sor Rebeca María Jacinto Pérez” and it’s supervised by the apostolic administrator of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas.
